Récupérée la semaine dernière de l'once des vacances parfaites (et une certaine famille, un travail, d'autres sujets) dans un supertyphoon ici aux Philippines. Les choses ici sont peu des folles et très tristes. Ce beau pays continue à être infesté par de mauvaises choses apparemment sans fin.

L'ouragan Parme, battu vers le pays juste une semaine après que tropical donnent l'assaut à Ketsana a déclenché la plus mauvaise inondation en 40 ans et autour à de Manille, laissant les personnes 300+ mortes.

Cette femme pleure près du cercueil de son fils qui est mort pendant l'inondation jeudi, oct. 1, 2009 dans la ville suburbaine de Quezon, Manille.

L'OK I savent que ceci ne ressemble pas à une conférence de SEO mais il était ! ! Nous avons eu notre mouche d'équipe du pistolet SEO dedans à Boracay autour des Philippines et des associés d'Australie, du Japon, d'Angleterre et de Chine pendant une semaine de stratégie et d'amusement sérieux. Pourquoi payez un centre de conférence cher dans une grande ville de tabagisme quand vous pouvez sortir là en nature avec WIMAX, détendent et travaillent également ? Hier nous étions littéralement dans une station thermale de fleuve avec le ToughBook imperméable à l'eau discutant une nouvelle stratégie de enchaînement de haute valeur que nous avions travaillée dessus pendant une année qui est maintenant à la fructification. Les affaires devraient être amusement et saines ..............

Well I left Byron Bay on January 15th 2009 for what I expected to be 5-6 week trip across Asia working with our youth venture capital fund www.YSEI.org and this year’s 10 fellows. I started out in Malaysia and have been working with projects in Thailand (way up north near the Laos border), Sarawak and the Philippines (north and south).

5 weeks has turned into 5 months and I’m now in the Southern Philippines, on a small island, in the middle of a big typhoon with no power and a flood roaring past the front door. I’ve got two broken ribs from a little surfing mishap on a big wave but otherwise in one piece and rolling. These things happen.
