My Sweet Lord – George Harrison

This song I’ve listened to over the last year. I’ll give you all my internet marketing knowledge for free but it’s remiss and you are not happening doing it I can’t promise this will work for you. Listen to this no matter what faith-religion or not you have…

North Korean Rocket launch a dud

Well we we’re bunking down for falling bits from a North Korean ‘Peaceful Rocket Launch’ here that was going to cross and drop secondary units on the Philippines. A launch that would have invaded not only Phils airspace but some of our neighbors as well. The launch was a total failure. Blessed be the peace Lord.

This by PYONGYANG, North Korea — North Korea’s much-anticipated rocket launch ended quickly in failure early Friday, splintering into pieces over the Yellow Sea soon after takeoff.

WordPress Sites with SEO Built In

How do we build sites so quickly and cheaply using the hands down, best darn software tools available? We use the WordPress Website Framework. That’s how.

WordPress is the one and only web software we use to create beautiful websites and blogs. WordPress like to say it is both “free and priceless at the same time.” WordPress is open source software meaning it really is free.

The core software is built by hundreds of community volunteers, and when you’re ready for more there are thousands of plugins and themes available to transform your site into almost anything you can imagine. WordPress says “Over 60 million people have chosen WordPress to power the place on the web they call “home” — we’d love you to join the family.”

Not a good week here in Phils

funeral1.jpgGot back last week from Oz on a perfect holiday (and some family, work, other matters) into a supertyphoon here in the Philipines. Things here are a little crazy and very sad. This beautiful country continues to be plagued by seemingly endless bad things.

Typhoon Parma, churned toward the country just a week after tropical storm Ketsana triggered the worst flooding in 40 years in and around Manila, leaving 300+ people dead.

This woman cries beside the coffin of her son who died during the flooding Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 in suburban Quezon City, Manila.

Why Companies Are Investing in SEO During the Economic Downturn

There’s no two ways about it – SEO is hot again. In the last 6 weeks, SEOmoz has received a higher than normal volume of requests for consulting. Alongside that, we’ve been getting calls from venture capital firms out of the blue – seven to date – asking either about investments they’re considering in the SEO sphere (and requesting insight) or literally asking whether SEOmoz would like to take more capital to grow (post about that coming soon).

Nothing beats a pen and paper

I was sitting down the beach today after a barreling dawn session at “The Wreck” in Byron Bay and was thinking about the values of pen versus computer when planning…………..and decided that nothing beats pen and paper especially after my recent trip to Malaysia where my laptop got fried yet again…

OctiSphere 1.0 created at Bondi Icebergs Club 2003

I decided to revert to my diary for initial notes and the mud-map of what we were planning on our 08 projects and how they all fitted together. Now I understand you may think these sketches are the product of a deranged mind but they are in fact proof of concept. The first image is Octisphere1.0 which we mapped out at the Bondi Life Savers club in 2003.
