Our outsourcing company already has customers from New York to New Zealand and combined with my non profit work I’m going to be on the road more than ever before next year. Unsere Outsourcing-Firma hat bereits Kunden aus New York nach Neuseeland und in Verbindung mit meiner Arbeit nicht profitieren werde ich auf der Straße mehr als je zuvor im nächsten Jahr. I estimate I’ll probably be in at least 20 countries over at least 3 continents from Jan - Dec 08. Ich schätze, ich werde wahrscheinlich in mindestens 20 Ländern über einen Zeitraum von mindestens 3 Kontinenten von Januar bis Dezember 08. Am I happy?: Yes. Bin ich glücklich?: Ja. Deliriously so as I probably had at least 3-4 weeks downtime last year traveling from remote places (and not so remote ie KL 2 weeks ago) with broken laptops which could sometimes be fixed and sometimes not ie buy new one - reload software/data etc etc. My math is that I’m actually saving about USD$10,000-15,000 PA by buying a USD$5,000 hardcore rugged laptop. Wahnsinnig, so hatte ich wahrscheinlich mindestens 3-4 Wochen Ausfallzeit im letzten Jahr auf Reisen von entfernten Orten (und nicht so abgelegen, dh KL 2 Wochen) mit gebrochenen Laptops, die behoben werden könnte manchmal und manchmal nicht, dh ein neues kaufen - reload Software / Daten Etc etc. Meine Mathematik ist, dass ich tatsächlich Einsparungen über USD $ 10000-15000 PA durch den Kauf von USD $ 5000 hardcore robusten Laptop. Go figure. Go Figur.
