Evento global do conhecimento em Kuala Lumpur um sucesso GRANDE!!

Esta era a 3o conferência que global do conhecimento eu fui sobre aos últimos 5 anos e provavelmente ao mais melhor nos termos dos resultados como nós levantamos USD$400,000 excedente para nossa iniciativa do empreendimento da juventude www.YSEI.org

O evento da parceria global do conhecimento no futuro, a terceira conferência global do conhecimento (GK3), foi aberto no 11o dezembro em Kuala Lumpur Tun Abdul Razak de Sri Mohd Najib pelo Dato do deputado ministro principal', e dirigiu-se aos desafios do desenvolvimento sustainable e equitable com a tecnologia do conhecimento e de informação e de comunicações (ICT).

Organizado pela parceria global do conhecimento, GKP, a conferência apontou conectar o conhecimento dos grassroots com o aquele de instituições principais, de corporaçõs, e de organizações multinacionais pelas parcerias construindo que aproveitaram o poder do conhecimento e do ICT eradicate a pobreza e melhorar vidas.

Em dar boas-vindas a delegados da conferência e convidados a GK3, o diretor da parceria global do conhecimento e a cadeira executivos do comitê trabalhando Rinalia Abdul Rahim da conferência, o `dito este evento de GKP no futuro é um marco miliário significativo para nós. Marca não somente uma década do excellence de GKP em compartilhar do conhecimento e em construir parcerias, mas também porque está ocorrendo em um ponto de giro crucial para o humankind.

Este é um momento a tempo onde nós necessitamos realmente focalizar em soluções para a mudança, que deve ocorrer a todos os níveis, por um futuro sustainable. Nossa maneira de vida tem que mudar, nossa maneira de fazer o negócio deve mudar. Durante os últimos 5 dias sobre 250 campeões internacionais do conhecimento e do ICT para o desenvolvimento (myself including e meus sócios em OrphanIT.com, junto com perto 2000 participants deliberados no futuro do perspective da inovação de encontro ao interplay entre tecnologias, povos e mercados. As inovações e as tecnologias são as ferramentas poderosas que serão requeridas urgente para contribuir em se dirigir a existir, as well as desafios novos, globais do desenvolvimento.

Global Knowledge Partnership’s Executive Committee Chair Walter Fust said, ‘GKP has always believed that development is not a one-way North to South process. Development takes place simultaneously at many levels and across many dimensions. We believe that sustainable and equitable development can only be achieved through the sharing of knowledge and the building of partnerships across sectors.’

He went on to explain: ‘The experience of developing countries in using ICT for development can actually benefit developed countries, particularly in addressing the challenge of social-economic inclusion.

We are pleased that so many countries, including Malaysia, are giving their full support to achieving our vision: of “A world of equal opportunities for all people to have access to and use knowledge and information to improve their lives”.

Broken into four key Plenary sessions, including a cross cutting plenary, with over 60 expert panels and workshops, GK3 will initiate interactive debates about the latest trends, innovations and future perspectives for global development.

GK3 Highlights

Emerging People Plenary on “New Jobs and Employment Opportunities” which features key representatives from government, private and public sectors and international organisations, will explore ways in which new ICT industries, skills and competencies generate entrepreneurial capacities, and employment opportunities for the future.

Emerging Markets Plenary on “Is There a Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid?” features corporate personalities from Microsoft, Intel, Alcatel, iMallsGlobal and BSL Holdings in an open dialogue on how private sector venturing into emerging markets is facilitating the inclusion of women and young people and others at the ‘bottom of the pyramid’ in the digital economy.

Emerging Technologies Plenary on ‘The Future of the Internet: Opportunities and Risks’ will gather ICT experts to discuss how the Internet will change in the future, how it will impact the way we live; what may be the nature of those changes; and whether a second Internet will emerge? Will future Internet developments become a source of new divisions or a bridge between existing ones?

The crosscutting Plenary on ‘Visions of the Future’, will reveal key trends in the interplay of people, markets and technologies, as guided by a panel of futurists, including an examination of how Web 2.0, networked innovation, social networking as well as new ways of learning and creativity will shape globalisation in the next decade.

Innovations at GK3

gk3_social_outsourcing_11.jpg The IdeaFactory:’A world of entrepreneurs - 20 ideas to make it happen by 2020′ is an innovative process employed at GK3 to gather ideas from participants for sharing at an ‘Idea Exhibition - Creative City’, subsequent distillation and finally, voting by participants to produce 20 most viable entrepreneurial to further development.

The Young Social Entrepreneurs’ Forum gathers 100 young social entrepreneurs from all corners of the globe to share innovative business ideas which employ ICT and return a tangible benefit to the society. The young entrepreneurs will receive mentorship, networking opportunity, the opportunity to pitch for starting or scaling-up funding; and key advice from invited high profiled funders and social venture capitalists.

The ‘Devices@TheEdge’ demonstration of with low cost devices aimed at facilitating access to Knowledge and ICT for the poor, such as the controversial One Laptop Per Child (XO) Laptop, and FreePlay Lifeline Radio, the Inveneo Solar Power Computing Station, Alcatel-Lucent’s e-Tuktuk Mobile Broadband solution, and the Open Moko open source mobile computing platform.

Market of Opportunities, (MoO) exhibition, which will act as a marketplace to facilitate the exchange of expertise, experiences, project support, project ideas and solutions amongst the ICT4D community.

GKP is a multi-sector, multi-stakeholder partnership that acts as an effective agent for change as the organisation works collaboratively with members and partners. All members share the GKP vision, and belief, that development across all spheres (social, political, economic) is dependent on knowledge and that knowledge sharing is an effective and empowering means of enabling growth and development.
